Hi Derek,

I look forward to your next installment of your Grandfather's story.

So many people at home were vital to the whole of the war effort. I like to hear about them and what they did to help, and what that was like for them. From the tiniest to the largest and most "at the front" actions, without that group effort at home and overseas, we wouldn't be sitting where and as we are today.

I so wish that all of the elder generation of my Mom's side of the family was still alive so that I could hear all of their stories from those years. It's still VERY good to hear other peoples stories though ... like about your Grandfather!
