4CIRU - No. 4 Canadian Infantry Reinforcement Unit
N S Regt - North Shore Regiment

T.O.S Taken on Strength - joining a unit (Gaining Unit)
S.O.S Stricken off Strength - leaving a unit (Losing Unit)
