I have to assume the 10 round integral magazine is grandfathered. There's no way I'm altering it, that's like cancelling a 1 penny upside down black! I also had a broom handle mauser that I picked up in the '60's but mine was in 7.63MM caliber...
It was a small (I called "coke bottle" )shaped round that came with 10 round stripper clips that top loaded ....
