Thank you for the reply and the link. As for the 10.50 20 tires, would that be a 40" height and 10" width? I'm trying to see if I have this right. I'm building a 1:35th scale replica of this vehicle and thought the best information to be gathered from the 1:1 guys.

The restored Portee looks great, I'd love to see shots of the ammo lockers and caster tracks. That particular type of Portee with the 2Pdr wheel holders like that was photographed in Austrailia, not sure if that type was in the desert. The desert photos I have seem to show Cheverolet CMP's with the ford square mesh front grill. Off hand, that tubular part mounted on the right side of the chevy is I believe an overflow tank, would you happen to have the measurements of that and or photographs?
