The reason why I selected a Commodore (GM) dash is because it shares the same top speed as the Blitz. And they are generally low KM due the cars falling in half early.

I recall many years ago an earlier version of the conform-o-dore was being driven around Australia by an audiovisual film crew (not me) for a tyre company. They hit a small culvert a bit hard, resulting in a crease across the centre of the roof, but as it was a hire car it was dropped back without comment, or repurcussion.

This Conform-o-dore has a nicely shock-tested dash with only 26 km on the clock. The wallopers managed to run for it and were not hurt, but must have had an interesting conversation with the truck driver who was possibly enjoying a nice nap at the time.
