Where's the can of WD40 when you need it?
It's amazing how much of the stuff you can salvage if you try hard enough. I cut up all the old wiring looms from my Dodges, asses the usable lenghts, and make new wiring runs out of the short sections. I've gotten to be a dab hand at reworking the civilian Dodge wings / fenders with their composite curves and wire-turned edges (thanks to an improptu masterclass from an old panelbeater restoring Bristol busses I found once) and the metal Meet Forum is the most useful tin-bashing site I've found on the 'net. http://www.metalmeet.com/forum/index.php I think the biggest challenge to date was the cab roof on the TD20; http://www.gwim2.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/td20u.htm ... but don't tell the wife I bought a truck with a knackered roof just because I had a repair section on the shelf.
