Headlamp questions

Well I took apart one of the 1 1/2 ton chevy headlights to compare to the Cab 11....vs ...UC... and there are some similarity.

See picture below....... NOS 1 1/2 Chevy has identical lens and reflector bulb arrangement... except the Chevy did not have the small parkinglight bulb installed similar to the cab 11... all wired but no bulb.

The retainer ring... the one that holds the lens in place is only 1/2 inch thick or wide one the cab 11 and 1 inch wide on the 1 1/2 ton chevy.

The refelctors and bulb are in remarkable shape....BUJT.. for the love of God.... I oculd not remove the large bulb from the cab 11 or the 1 1/2 tonner.... I pushed... twisted...puller... swore a little... it moves but could not take it out.....

Dirk... do you have the lens retainer ring that fits the cab 11/12??

My other ex UC light has a sealed beam installed... the original ring holding it is also rusted beyond use...
