One time, a long long time ago (4 years) I was working at Barrie Welding and Machine and was machining my brake drums. at the time I thought of cleaning up the threads.

I couldn't find the right left hand die for it so I asked an English fellow that worked there for 20 years if he could figure it out.

He got out the old british thread guage and his assumptions were right...the thread is a 55 degree pitch rather than our 60 degree pitch.

Do you need a new drum, tell me its a front and you can have my spare.

p.s. to loosen the threads up on mine a bit I ended up puting the nut on and off a few times with a coarse rubbing compound and my impact gun.
