Geoff and others, this is not the first instance in which a vehicle or parts have been unduly traded, sold etc to another party.
While this matter of course has been settled amongst a couple very admirable fellows in the hobby, I feel I must add my .02 worth. None of my business I suppose, but, as a fellow collector and supporter of the hobby and MLU, I think I'm entitled. Geoff, I very much respect your attitude toward the individuals involved in this issue in as much as them being unaware of the ownership situation, but covering for some unscrupulous individual(s) is paramont to leaving the booby trap for others to fall into. I have always said that this hobby consists of a small group of fellows and that one bad deal can make one's name "mud" instantly. Maybe WE as MLUers and collectors SHOULD know which character(s) to WATCH out for. A PM would suffice should you care to share... ![]()
