I've shipped the sample in to Wpg today, and should have a call from them in a day or two for the price. I'm going to go with the short spring, hooks opposite, although the sample I sent has the hooks the same direction.
I'm checking the difference between quantity 50 and 100 so we'll see how it goes. I've had this same company make me the return spring for stens, and they do a good job.

Found a guy in Brandon after all who relines brake shoes. Had the choice between standard bonded fibreglass based linings or a woven type (at twice the price). I guess I'll stick with the standard.

Good tip Sean, but I suspect that the shops in the great white north are a lot more resourceful at making things fit; here they usually can't be bothered. What was the price on the truck springs, just for reference?
