Master Jon, I would love to please you in this, but I feel that this wouldn't be fair to the last bidder, or the rules, which are.... the highest bid that exists at exactly 12:00 P.M. , EDT, 4 Sept. (in this year of 2005 ) gets the prize

I can only accept bids from 12:00 EDT or before ... even one second beyond 12:00 EDT is too late and the book must go to the highest bidder closest to, but not going later than, exactly 12:00 EDT that day. (example ... 12:01 ees too late baby ) these rules are non-negotiable and inflexible.
