How to get that truck up onto the trailer?

Those of you who know me have probably guessed that I was not going to hand crank that CMP onto my trailer, so this is how we urged the old truck behind the new truck.

The cab 13 has the original 216 in it - with some "issues".

I plan to get another 216 later this week in Ohio - a runner to slip back into the frame rails until I can diagnose the ills.

Picture 4. Jim steers while Stewart provides the power to get the old warhorse onto the trailer. The 9,000 pound SuperWinch worked like a charm!

Fear not safety watchers - the action had stopped while Jim cranked the nonpower steering a little. My lovely wife snuck in for a closer shot while the coast was clear. Note the careful hook placement and chain over winch cable. Jim had seen cables break while recovering sickly Leopards in the army, and didnt want to have to drive me to the hospital.
