hi rob
well yes thats corect 90% of the time. i had a person hired to braze the crack. the bright person said ok that will be $80. i said ok. then he proceded to braze the crack, while it was still on the engine. well he blew the crap out of himself and i think "puffed" out the oil pan. i still drive the carrier but get about 5 miles a pint in fuel usage. i think the whole thing is toast but i could be wrong. my last resort is to take it off and smear a whole glob of vegemite on it. from what i hear that stuff will keep everything out. just kidding
