A thought. I have at least one photo which will scan in tonight, I am at the office now, which shows the ambulance/light cargo truck version of the 3 Gd with a wheel setup very similar to your first photo. Only difference is the mounting of larger size tyres on your photo. That it is an Adler is, I think, not longer a question.
