Bravo. I am so impressed. I actually think the $$ are reasonable for the result.
Mine has a patch of rust on the inner end of the shaft, but otherwise no signs of stressing or cracking. Now if I am so unlucky as to have it shear off at some far future date (I've had this happen in a Land Rover), I will know where to turn. I think Lorne may still be looking for one of those, too.
