I have been trying to decide whether there is a direct correlation between the MCC and Chevrolet Portees. The answer may lie in evidence that drawings for the WD Portee body intended to be fitted to WD-specification 15-cwt chassis were supplied in 1938 and 1939 to the Department of National Defence. I believe therefore that MCC and GM of Canada worked to the same detailed drawings.
