This C8A was recently sold by LWD parts. It came from a collector who acquired it straight from an Army surplus sale decades ago and then dry stored it. The current owner Roland acquired and prepared it to do a long overland trip, but that project fell through. Being technically restored, this gives the new owner a "blank canvas" to finish it in the colour and markings of choice.

Egbert, Alex and myself had the pleasure of visiting the Baecke’s last month. This was the first time I saw a C8A in ex-service condition - impressive. This truck is in very capable hands with father and son, they have restored a large number of Dodges and motorcycles to a very high standard.

De banden zijn in 2015 vervangen.

A 1945 APT judging by nose, dash gauges and spare tyre carrier....but a nice truck nonetheless!
