Worth exploring as an alternative for DIY......

They have cotton braided....... also synthetic shrink braided.....

Have yet to find a cotton black with one yellow tracer.........

it is called braided sleeving tube.........

prices are reasonable and I have had material shipped to my home very fast no custom hassle........ but would not buy 100 meters without a small sample.....

....back to looking......

If you are feeling brave, look at the machines made in the UK by https://www.cobrabraids.com/. You could set up in a new career... providing harness braiding services in either cotton or wire to the CMP community.
