Did you see his Service File? I had a look but no mention of Company anywhere that I could see. Names of Parents, Sisters and Brothers in there too but cannot see any reference to sub-unit assignments. I also noted that he had a number of service discipline issues, had previously been in hospital and had reverted to Corporal by the time of his death.
