This was the saddest thing of all to read:

"Lt Col Zangas admitted that the restoration should not have been given so much import so soon after the war. "It sent out the wrong message, renovating a Christian cemetery when you're occupying a Muslim country," he said"

I'm all for winning the peace in Iraq, but the good Colonel misses the point. This wasn't a "Christian" cemetery as much it was one for fallen warriors. Shame.
