Default Frames

Hi Rob

Perhaps the easiest thing might be to find someone with a good F15A frame who desperately needs a C15A one...

Not sure about springs but one of the biggest problems will be mounting the engine - they are totally different there as the Ford front mounts are different as they use the two water pumps as mounts, and the gearbox will cause some headaches as a Ford mounts into the cross member, although you might be able to use a rear gearbox mount from a conventional truck, but it probably won't wind up in the same place.

The shock absorbers are also completely different, as is the bumper mount.

I think you're asking for a lot of grief - not to mention the truck will always be worth a lot less as a bitzer.

I have a good F15A frame available... pity you guys exported it 60 years ago!
