.......are special fairly flat head bolts officially called elevator bolts or step bolts....I did a special order from Spaenaur in Toronto...... and square nuts to match the thread.

And yes they are for the "stowage boards" ..... never seen one....... apparently discarded at the first opportunity has they were always in the way.

It is not unusual to find spent .303 shell casings rammed in these holes....had three in one cargo box which I cut out the floor and saved as a souvenir.

Puzzle...... were do you plan to place your spare tire/wheel????
