I think I can safely say it is just about over. The sore throat has reduced to the point I ate a couple grilled cheese for breakfast, although that was with the help of a few throat lozenges. However, the wife was starting to feel symptoms yesterday and got worse this morning so headed into town for another test. She is now in bed so I guess I can return all of the kindness and caring she showed me this past 5 days. I actually like to overdue it, in the hopes that next time she feels she has to do the same. As I fluffed up her pillows, she kicked me out. Methinks the old buckleys may have to come out if her attitude doesn't change towards the positive. But seriously though, I hope hers is even less than my experience was.

Rob, my wife has been telling me for years that:
Children get sick, men get ill and women get on with it! I'm glad your mostly through it. Women are tough, but look after her. After all she puts up with you!

I absolutely know that Lynn.
I was driving with my daughter one day, and said to her that Linda (my better half) deserves a medal for putting up with me. My daughter, after a thoughtful pause, stated "I think you both deserve a medal".

In the end....yep, chicken soup. Of course, being Southpark, they will insult many races and people in a single episode. I'm not sure how it would come across to foreign viewers who might not be as aware to the various cultural and historic references.
