It’s definitely an adventure I’m willing to take. It’s 7 hours away from where I live now so it’s a hell of a trek just to confirm if it is what it is. I’d also need to make this trip to get the lot number and possibly get leads on the owner.
It’s crazy talk because I do not need another project but curiosity is killing me.
It sits 600ft off a highway with a gravel road leading to it.

Sounds like a good way to spend the weekend! I have done similar to go and look in Firefly wrecks.

I'd love to help, even if it's remotely. This is the kind of stuff the Internet was made for. Discovering your childhood "tank in the woods" and hopefully recovering it. We could even get a Hallmark movie out of this.

I sure miss those adventures Rob & I would go on in search of carriers in the bush!
I didn’t even own a carrier at the time but just as excited to find those rusty parts just lying there!
