Click the paperclip icon above the message field so that a new window opens in which you can select up to five images from your computer (in the top half), then click the Upload button and wait for it to finish. You can add them into the message by pressing the downward arrow next to the paperclip icon.
That said, the forum software here is, if you ask me, open to improvement. Or preferably replacement by something more modern
