Thanks! I’ll check around here some more, but in the meanwhile, please think about what you want for a set.

I am more than happy to sell you whatever you need, but pretty sure Canada post is going to add another $25 to the already ridiculous price of shipping due to their length. As I mentioned, do a quick google for the numbers i listed. They are on ebay as well. I think you will be way better off (financially) getting them on your side of the border. I am happy to be wrong on this one, but I doubt it. Let me know what you find or need. |

The US MS sections are shorter that the Canadian ZA sections. The MS116,7,8 are about 39". The WS19 bits are just under 50". You can always add an additional section. I think on both you can go up to 5 sections without to much stress on the bottom aerial. I found all three ws19 sections, ZA/Can0699,0700,0701 and an aerial bag No.2 MK2 at a thrift store for $10. It was in with the fishing gear.
![]() Fair Radio has some MS stuff but not as cheap as Haney Electronics. Another good source are the MVPA meets. |

![]() A vast number of WS38 Mk.II aerial sets (1 each of bottom, middle & top plus the "spring steel rod" battle aerial) were sold by surplus dealers in the 1950s as DIY fishing rods, with a pack of guide eyes for the line, a simple reel, some line and a wooden handle. Original push-fit 'F' rods are 48 inches long. Later push fit and screw to lock rods are 49.5 inches long. Chris. |
