I've never been to that museum, though remember reading about it in Wheels & Tracks magazine issue #5 and #38 if I am correct where the CGT Cab 13 on display drew my eye.

#mandatorycmpcontent: from the thread CMPs at the Dutch National Military Museum:

Attached are some scans from Wheels and Tracks magazine no.5.

A couple of days ago Hanno and I were talking about a rare Karrier 6x4 restoration project.....a Lorry that came from the Pourville museum and even in the Wheels and Tracks issue it is described as "possibly the sole survivor of the breed".

Nice find, those postcards And thanks for looking up the W&T article.

Shame that museum closed down, although it was better for the outside exhibits. I wonder where the CMP vehicles went? I see a 3-tonner, a LAAT and a FAT, most likely they all came from French Navy reserve stock meaning they were all in excellent condition before they were put out to pasture.

The Karrier CK6 still exists in the same dilapidated condition. It needs a full restoration but the good news is that it is under cover in a private collection. If you’ve always lusted after a British 6x4 truck, you’re in luck as it is for sale. Contact me for more details.
