The numbers from 90 to 95 are all ground wires in one location or another. For instance, 91 is ground for the headlights. 90 is ground for the trailer. Wire 37, if I remember correctly , is a power wire. I used to energize that if you had lighting in the trailer. You just had to keep in mind that all the power you draw is from a 14 gauge wire. I think they also used to use it for the convoy light circuit....that was the K terminal iirc.
Re the pintle hitch, I always just went hand tight and then line it up with the next cotter pin hole. The pintle must rotate. It should also be greased once in a while. The 750kg trailers are OK, the weak-point in my mind are the hydraulic brakes. Because the trailers sit for the majority of the year, the hydraulic systems do not get used enough. |

I found the listing of circuit numbers on this website to be helpful as a reference... https://olive-drab.com/od_mseries_circuits.php

What a nice LSVW and DEW CDN1 Trailer combination. Preserving the current vehicles is as important as saving those from the war or post-war NATO eras as each vehicle represents a piece of Canada's automotive history.

Thank you Rob , Whayne and Ed. A source for the rifle holders / racks in the cab of the LSVW ? Someone , somewhere along the disposal chain deemed appropriate to literraly tear them out of the floor without unbolting them .... Dangerous piece of kit .

Agreed Ed, and even the lemons should be saved. The LSVW represents the product of political interference in the trials and tendering process. It will have a place in Canada's history right in line with the Ross rifle, the MacAdam shield shovel, and the Canadian Youth Volunteer program.

And the Royer zippered combat boots that come apart after 2 weeks Rob . Lemons come in many forms it seems. I thought the Iltis was your most hated Rob ? I had to tilt the cab of the LSVW to change the starter . 16 man hours !
