I am probably wrong but at first sight my two holes from each side (on both sides) are not at 90 degrees, as on the drawing. I must see it more carefully ![]() I think to make one adjustable system to correct all the relations between the gear change lever and the opposite end at the gearbox. The major and principal forces are applyed along the length of the big bar, not sideways. So it is not difficult to make such a system. Let’s keep in touch, and sorry for my broken English. Joćo |

Ross the last sentence in the text of the drawing....31" and 30"....Should it actually read 30" and 29" or am I reading it wrong? Ron

Hi Joćo,
You're English is fine. I had an adjustable system on mine when I bought it, but it kept slipping, which is why I tried to remake the fixed tube. If you make an adjustable version, make sure you can clamp it very tightly.

My findings were that the holes were perpendicular. The tubes have been fitted to various carriers without issue. Another thing to consider is the linkage on the top of the gearbox has not been fitted incorrectly or is slightly bent out of shape as that will also cause issues selecting gears.
