Mike, that is the Canadian one, used on MK1* and probably Mk2
The British Carrier had an early version of dash light and the one Kevin has, must have been the standard version they ended up using on several vehicles, including English Carriers, Valentine Tanks, etc., probably from 1940 on wards, That is my view of the situation, Cheers Andrew.
