I'm guessing that this is another in the series of pictures that the Cadman's have enlarged on the wall of their museum?, if it's the set I'm thinking of they were taken in your neck of the woods I believe ?.

What is the truck? Could be either a winch truck, or a derrick, I can't see the jack legs at the back so it makes me think it could be a winch truck.

If the picture was taken in the south east of England it could be Canadian 1st Div, '48' could be the 2nd Field Park Coy.
