This photograph of a tracked Jeep with a DUKW was taken at Churchill, Manitoba in 1946. The tracked Jeep has had 45 gallon drums attached to the bow and stern to increase buoyancy when crossing the Churchill River.

Thanks Ed, looks like they continued testing them postwar.

Here is a photo of the Tracked Jeep at the MVT show, Knebworth 1983. According to the note in my album it was entered by Jim Dowdall.
