C15A windscreens
Firstly as a new member I hope this is the correct way of asking for help! Currently restoring our C15A blitz and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on what steel profile and rubbers I can use to rebuild my rusted frames. Any help regarding this would be most appreciated. Thankyou, Andy.

That style is common on the US military trucks. The windshield frames from the M939 trucks has the correct profile of channel and has plenty of length to work with to make the correct CMP cab 13 frames. For the outer rubber, again the 939 outer seal will work, although will have to be shortened at the bottom and the tops trimmed. For the inner seal, that is just common glaziers tape. I like to use engne oil to lubricate the channel and the tape when installing. That way, it tends to swell up the rubber after installation as well as provide a measure of rustproofing to the channels.
Here are some examples: https://www.easternsurplus.net/PartD...ger-Windshield https://www.ebay.com/itm/M939-5-TON-...1&isGTR=1#shId https://www.ebay.com/itm/Military-Tr...sAAOSweW5VgDcB |

Rebuild C15A window frames
Thankyou all for your replies, the window frames I have are beyond repair so I am looking at completety making a new set. I will check with Clark Rubber and on internet as to what rubber is available. The original steel surround is a rounded profile but maybe I will have to make them with flat steel. I am wondering if anyone else has done something similar? Thanks, Andy.

Victorian, too. I wonder if he'd be OK to do a run of windscreen channel straight lengths to sell at Corowa?

Canadian Cab 13 windshield frame section
The attached photo is of one of the acceptable areas of an unsaveably rusted Canadian Cab 13 (Chev, if it matters) windshield frame - for comparison to the Holden section shown above.
