Big, big fines and seizure of the items. https://www.news.com.au/technology/i...7f6e3193ea62b1 https://www.racq.com.au/Living/Artic...bestos-warning Customs have been just as vigilant with parts imports, either by mail or container. There is anecdotal stories of an importer of a 1966 Ford Mustang worth AU$25,000 who was unable/unwilling to pay an additional AU$20,000 to have the car declared "Clean" and the vehicle was seized and destroyed. Besides being out of pocket for the cost of the car, on top of that he was also hit with a $5000 fine. Still, some measly suspension cups, would they bother? |
