We have 3 of those cans here at the RCA Museum. Can't say, other than yours, that I have ever seen others. There is no marking on the can as to date or what they were to contain.
The nail hole should not be a big deal. Tin the metal, then drip some lead onto the tinned metal and it should seal right up. |
