Hi Rod
I've never seen nor heard of rebuild kits for these boosters. Now having said that over the years I've taken apart cleaned and put back in service 3 of these units. The manual has good discription of how to disassemble with out damage to parts. Replacements for things like the bellows both large and small can be source from modern applications, example the large bellows can be made from shock absorber covers, and the small one motorcycle cable boots. One tip, you will need a vacuum source ( preferably electric vacuum pump) and vacuum gauge to do any bench testing of the unit. Testing the units in the truck is not practical as you will not find the vacuum leaks. When bench testing be careful were you hold the actuator linkage these units at 14 inches of vacuum move with great force and quicker than you may expect. There have been several good threads on this topic which you may find useful if you have not already read them. Keep us posted on your progress and your questions. Note that you don't have the manual, from time to time they have been available online in sections. Unfortunately the online link to the manuals on my Web page is no longer good. I'll look to see if l have a PDF version that can be posted. If you can’t find the brake section let us know somebody can email them to you Cheers Phil

"several good threads on this topic which" I have not been able to find
there must be a magic word I am not using in the 'search' I have searched brakes and vacume, therefore much interesting reading, but not on this booster dismantled If no links are posted, your pdf, Phil, would be appreciated cheers rod |

You could try Ross Prince from Hervey Bay to see if he has rebuild kits available. I have seen them for sale on ebay from time to time, so they are out there. Note that similar units were also fitted to other vehicles like Studebaker US6, but there might be differences in the way they are plumbed or operate. If not, Dirk Leegwater in the Netherlands sells NOS complete units as a last resort.

Hi Rod
Yes at times the search feature on the MLU Forum is not that productive. So when that happens I do a google web search on MLU which generally yields more results. Try this one Brake Booster should yield 119 results with either word Brake or Booster or both. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...pe=&as_rights= If you google advanced search on just "Brake Booster" you get 133 hits. Of course it gives you every time somebody typed Brake Booster no mater what truck they are talking about. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...pe=&as_rights= Problem with doing online search is they have dumb down the advance search on some "smart" phones and tablets, I can only do an advanced search on my desk top computer. Cheers Phil Sent you a private message, so I can send you that manual section.
