The logo on the case is ITV, but I can't find it on www.itv.com

The trucks they use in the film are Dodges, made up to look like the late model Chevs, and some of the details are suspect:

The germans have US half tracks (of course), and the german tanks look like Pz III but could be painted pictures as they are in the background of one scene only

The trucks are marked as T patrol, yet have mixed crews including Guardsmen and just a single kiwi soldier!

His "lemon squeezer" is wrong, worn with the valley to the front, instead of the ridge. In fact it looks like an american army campaign hat !

Overall its a good yarn, typical of the post war era black and white war movies.

Not a Photo of a D15, but I thought I'd share this photo of my Grandfather's RASC unit war diary in Italy 1944. Its an audit of the company vehicles including chassis number , WD number and contract number.
If anyone ever comes across any of those chassis numbered vehicles, do let me know...

Oh and I included another photo of one of my favourite standing orders from the company war diaries. Fishing with hand grenades...

"Restoring a WWII Canadian Dodge D15 of the Royal Army Service Corps - A family’s generational love for those curves lead them to revive a WW2 Truck like the one their grandfather drove.
Simon Balding’s grandfather had been a Sergeant in the British Army during WWII. Of the many stories Sgt. Balding told to his grandson were a few of his “favorite” truck — a Dodge D15. Simon decided he would find his grandfather’s truck."
