There is a CFTO on the cracking at the bellcrank.....it was considered repairable.
There was not one for the rear cracking. It would result in a PCC (Condemnation) request, and after approval the jeep would get used for cannibalization to keep others going.I suppose some maintenance facilities might repair the frame by fish-plating and boxing, but there was no specific instruction for this. Trucks like these were constantly driven to the limits of their capabilities and some just did not survive it. Last edited by rob love; 30-01-19 at 14:59. |
