Lift weight V Actual weight

Jason,

Engine deck & transmission doors are hinged at one end, so the effort involved is not lifting the full weight.

A Cent owner could measure the lift weight (as opposed to the actual door weight) with a heavy capacity spring balance, as I think that is the actual weight the old guy needs for Vet Affairs.
