The SAR history tells us that CLANKY soldiered on until October - however, that doesn't rule out being hit in August.
The 42 tac sign in the photo, however, would not indicate to me the command vehicle of C Squadron - though the circle would, the 42 suggests the second vehicle of No. 4 troop.
