I wouldn't scrap it, it looks like a good Garwood winch which will fit GMC, DUKW or Studebaker maybe Diamond T depending on what size it is. Looks like the tag is missing off the top
near the filler plug.
I would offer it for sale and get some money to put back into the blitz. Good swap meet seller.
