Default Transmission

Hi Alistair,
I have had a problem like this many years ago when assembling a transmission from the best bits from several transmissions. I found that the shifter forks bound up against the gears and required additional gaskets under the cover to act as spacers to allow the necessary clearance. My problem I am sure was due to a mismatch of parts. Your problem may be something similar. You could try loosening the bolts and see if it allows the transmission to shift.
