We are hovering at just above freezing all week, however snow is forecast for 5 of the next 7 days. Lows are all in the single digits.

I have been busy in the shop, where the wood furnace has it to a balmy 28°C. I have to step outside every now and then for a breath of fresh air.

Global-whatever-is-going on has not been un-kind to us Manitobans. We actually had very little snow up to about 2 weeks ago when we were hit with our first decent storm this winter. Luckily for us Canadians, PM Trudeau has strong-armed the provinces to enact carbon taxes...that will fix whatever is happening.

whats snow..only got to 41. vehicle movement ban today from 1100 to 1300. Includes all vehicles other than ones used for checking livestock welfare but must have at least 400lt of water, pump and hose etc. big fines if you disobey. No internal combustion engines, hot works, grinding, driving cmp or carriers, cooking fires.... only thing we can do is sit tight. In the aircon. Drinking emu export.

Now that is a new one "whats snow..only got to 41. vehicle movement ban today from 1100 to 1300." Now was the 41C the high or the low for the day?

What season do the locust plagues come, or are they smart enough to stay away when it is that hot?

Are beer delivery trucks exempt from the travel ban?

This time of year here in New England we have weight limits on the roads of 6 tons, but certain vehicles are exempt, trucks hauling dairy products, or maple sugar sap, and oh yes the septic tankers.

Holy Moley! Time flies!
Our temps have been awesome lately in the high 20's.
Summer however has been very hot and very dry. Like a normal summer in this part of the world.

Hi All

We really should figure out the optimal seasonal migration pattern for CMP owners, so as to have the best driving and working temperatures. Not to hot or cold not to wet or dry, in between the biting bugs and other obnoxious criters.

Heck, birds and butterflies can migrate thousands miles why not us?
