Guys,
More small stuff. I suppose this entire restoration consists of a series of small steps. Had the new document holder and WS 19 spare parts holder welded in place. Slowly filling up. Peter IMG_1138.jpg IMG_1137.jpg |

Outstanding Peter.
When I first got into MV restoration I knew very little. Over the course of time I picked up the skills, as have you. I remember Dad telling me not to look at the project as one big piece- that in itself would be overwhelming. Rather, as he suggested, look at it as a whole bunch of smaller pieces. Envision each as its own sub assembly, each a project of its own. Take bite size pieces. Before you knew it I have a baffed out 12 cab Ford CMP fully restored and running. 21 months.

Guys,
Mocked up the new front storage bin that Andy fabricated. More work to do on the lids and it's extensions, but definitely looks the part. Changes the appearance quite a bit. Peter IMG_1147.jpg IMG_1148.jpg |

Pete, that looks real nice and it's great you have someone who can do that quality fabrication.

Barry,
I don't have the skills for fabrication, but I do seem to have a talent for finding proud, talented and enthusiastic people such as Andy Pomorski. The front storage bin looks great, now to remove it and have it blasted and primed. Peter IMG_1155.jpg IMG_1156.jpg IMG_1158.jpg |

Guys,
The nose armour is back on, for what I hope is the last time. One needs to be a contortionist to deal with the nuts inside the frame rails, The paint certainly changes the Lynx's appearance. Now to remount all the bits and pieces. Then to finalize the unit and formation markings along with the other odd markings. Peter IMG_1161.jpg IMG_1162.jpg |
