Thanks Rob, I'll follow those leads up.
The battery is fully charged (I use a battery maintainer), but it still sticks on (internally) from time to time. I've heard others complain about the repro one from Macs, but I already had it by then, so tried it anyway. Guess I should have listened to others with more experience. Please can anyone tell me where the starter solenoid fits on a late (July 1944) Cab13 F60S? I have the NOS cable that joins it to the starter motor and know the solenoid cannot be far away from the starter.
