I had one of those, it lasted the best part of a week. It is very, very tiring, both mentally and physically. Especially when friends constantly makes jokes about it
Imagine not being able to fall asleep due to the constant hiccups. When you finally fall asleep and wake up again, you think: it's over? it's over! and then the hiccups starts again...
When I went to my uncle who was a doctor and asked him to end my misery, a simple pill was enough.
