Here's one way forward, and much easier to check the water level.
You need a four pound cap (no higher pressure) as the radiators cant handle it.
I used a Morris Minor one. and a neck off ebay. Then you have to have the threaded part made and welded to the neck.

Do you have dimension of the threaded part exact thread that will fit the hole on top of radiator?

Can anyone tell what dimensions of the part of the image? especially what the size of the window marked in X
I have the part but we'll eat "Corrosion" in the long window

Israel how desperate are you for the dimensions ? If you can give me a week I will dismantle one from my pile of parts and draw around it for you and post it to you ? From memory mine does not have any corrosion on.... the offer is there if knowone comes forth before hand.
