Sorry folks, been busy with other priorities and so the pictures exceed my narrative.

In November I stripped the chassis and sent it to be blasted and to get an idea of how bad it was (or not). It was epoxy etch primed at the blaster as I request it to protect the steel in humid climes like here!!

Removing the diffs is no easy task in the 35C temps. I have one pin stuck on the LH rear, (you can see it in the pictures) It appears that the pin is worn to the extent that I cant hit it out. Might be a case of reverse press rather than using a puller.

The chassis was then painted in zinc primer and good quality enamel. All of the wear parts have been painted (under the green) in engine enamel black. Its a good epoxy paint and I often use it for protection areas.

The chassis overall is in excellent condition, with the usual rust on the transfer case mounting. - well it is 75 years young!

I have pressed all the old copper/bronze/brass bushes out which was surprisingly easier than I had done on other vehicles. (the bushes are split so that made it easier.
