I had two new pieces of glass cut for the windshield, and I installed them last night (I have a new respect for people who make installing glass look easy). Since I found the carb kit I was originally looking for, I pulled the carb and installed the remaining new parts.
Otherwise, lots of painting little parts and nuts and bolts, as I install all the small pieces. I sandblasted and primed my wheels, so hope to get them painted tomorrow. New rubber is waiting in the shed.

Back to reality...
Well, my vacation is over and its back to work this week. Progress on the jeep is going to slow down a bit. I have several small things left to do, and then take it in for a provincial inspection before getting it registered.
I did get time to mount the new tires...

Working on connecting the gauge cluster and dashboard controls now. I will need to go over the clutch adjustment, bleed brakes etc, and other final checks on everything in the next few days. Looking forward to getting this thing outside...

Thanks Brad. Its not perfect, as it still shows some of the signs of its 20 year career in the CF. it also has a birthday coming up in December (50 years old). Its still a youngster compared to most of the beautiful vehicles on this site.

Progress seems like it has slowed down again... I did manage to complete the hookup and testing of the electrical system, and I got all of the interior components back together. The clutch is adjusted, and I'll try to get the brakes finished tonight. I haven't tried to start it yet, but I did test the starter and it turns over nicely.

I guess it depends on what year you are trying to portray, but the extinguisher and the SMG locations were swapped around...I believe for security reasons. The (blue) extinguisher ended up on the dash.
Looks great though Wayne. Personally, I would have been tempted to drive it around for a couple years in it's semi gloss green, then cam it once that paint stopped looking "new".
