Rob: I was thinking about how nice it would be to dunk the carb in a bucket of cleaner. You are right, it does a perfect job and leaves nothing behind.
It must be just the way things look in the photo, but fortunately no extraction or stripped holes in the body. Although having heli-coils in the two holes you mention would be a good feature (maybe in the future). As things would have it, today I found the complete "unopened" carb kit that I was looking for last night.
